The Head of the Medtourism Group, Dr. Dimitrios Nikolopoulos, is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with a special emphasis on Knee, Hip and Shoulder Arthroscopic surgery and on Foot and Ankle Surgery.
He is a consultant and orthopedic surgeon in the Orthopaedic Departments of Central Clinic of Athens and Central Clinic of Santorini.
Dr. Nikolopoulos is a significant contributor in the medical professional community and is a member of a number of medical societies in Greece, Europe and US. An active researcher, he has contributed to numerous publications and research in knee and shoulder surgery. He has authored more than 25 publications and has facilitated more than 100 lectures.
